Veterans Place of Washington Boulevard has been awarded their first Three-Year Term of Accreditation by CARF. Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, or CARF, is an independent accrediting body of health and human services. The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities is an international, non-profit organization founded in 1966, whose mission is to promote optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process that focuses on enhancing the lives of persons served. As a CARF accredited service provider, Veterans Place will have the advantage of clearly defined and internationally accepted standards for our services to homeless veterans, as well as a robust framework for continuous quality improvement.

CARF recognizes Veterans Place’s concern for the health, wellbeing, and safety of our veterans, reflected through our facilities and the quality of programs offered. CARF also recognized the staff and organization for “always putting veterans first in all of its decision makings.” Veterans Place earned three-year accreditation, CARF’s highest level accreditation, demonstrating substantial conformance to CARF standards.
