Veterans Place is excited to announce that we have reopened our newly-remodeled kitchen and food pantry!
As part of our mission to give our Veterans the skills they need to grow and become self-sufficient, our Veterans can come to our revamped kitchen and food pantry where they can learn how to cook and receive help.
More Than a Food Pantry
With our new food pantry, we will be able to not only help Veterans by providing them with meals, but we will also be able to teach them valuable cooking skills and educational resources to help them transition to a more self-sufficient life.
Walmart provided us with assistance for the renovation by donating the shelving units for the space and also by providing us with a $25,000 check to purchase appliances and other gadgets for the space. We are excited to utilize the revamped space to continue assisting our Veterans and helping them transition out of homelessness.
