Get ready for an unforgettable evening of darts, camaraderie, and charitable giving! On March 22, 2025, Veterans Place of Washington Boulevard invites you to the Darts for Veterans Place Tournament—a special fundraising event dedicated to supporting homeless and at-risk veterans in Pittsburgh.
Every throw makes a difference, as all proceeds go toward providing essential services like housing, job training, and mental health support to those who have served our country. This is your chance to come together with friends, family, and fellow community members to give back to our heroes in a meaningful and enjoyable way.
Whether you’re a seasoned dart player or just looking for a fun way to contribute to a meaningful cause, we welcome all skill levels! Here’s what you need to know:
Game Format: Luck of the Draw (501/Cricket/Choice)
Entry Fee: $25 per person
Team Rules: No two pros or two females per team. Teams are selected by pulling a name out of a hat.
Registration: Sign-ups open at 6 PM, and the first dart flies at 7 PM
Location: American Legion Post 618, McKees Rocks, PA
Beyond the game itself, expect a lively atmosphere filled with friendly competition, exciting prizes, and the opportunity to meet others who are passionate about supporting our veterans. Don’t forget about the raffle drawings! We have incredible prizes donated by generous local businesses. Every raffle ticket purchased increases your chances of winning and directly supports veterans in need.
Local businesses and community members play a crucial role in making this event a success. Sponsorship opportunities allow you to showcase your support while gaining valuable exposure. Consider one of the following sponsorship levels:
Bullseye Sponsor ($1,000): Premier recognition, event signage, complimentary tickets, and prominent social media promotion
Double-16 Sponsor ($500): Logo placement, event tickets, and verbal recognition during the event
Board Sponsor ($250): Branding on dart boards and event signage
Additionally, businesses and individuals can contribute by donating a raffle basket (minimum $50 value) to help boost fundraising efforts. Every donation helps us continue providing veterans with the resources they need to regain stability and independence.
