The season of ghosts, goblins, and ghouls is upon us! At Veterans Place of Washington Boulevard, we would like to wish our community of supporters and their families the happiest of Halloweens!
Veterans Place recently invited our veterans to get into the Halloween spirit with a pumpkin carving contest. Our veterans had a great time showcasing their creativity. DiBella’s Subs generously donated boxed lunches for our veterans on this special day!
As the year begins to wind down and we take the time to celebrate the fun of the spooky season, we would like to take this moment to thank our community for the generous support they have provided us this year.
Your support means so much to our veterans and provides them with life-sustaining services that help them build self-sufficient, successful lives. While you put on your best costume or enjoy your favorite Halloween treat, take the time to reflect on the support you’ve given our organization, and take pride in knowing that you’ve made a positive difference in the life of veterans in need.
Whether you are trick or treating, having a small family gathering, or staying in to enjoy tasty treats and watch Halloween movies, we hope you have a happy and safe Halloween holiday. Thank you for helping us continue in our mission of ending homelessness among veterans in the Pittsburgh region. Happy Halloween from
Veterans Place of Washington Boulevard!
