Although Veterans Place of Washington Boulevard had to cancel their cornhole tournament last year due to COVID, they are bringing it back this year better than ever! This event will be held on September 18th at the RMU Island Sports Center in Pittsburgh and will feature an airmail contest, Chinese auction, 50/50 raffle, food, beverages, and more.
“Our Annual Cornhole Tournament is a fun event to do with family, friends, or co-workers. We encourage people to come out and enjoy the friendly competition, fun, and food, all while supporting Veterans Place of Washington Boulevard. We look forward to welcoming more people into our community of supporters,” said Rob Hamilton, Executive Director of Veterans Place of Washington Boulevard.
The proceeds of this event will benefit the mission of Veterans Place to help end veteran homelessness and provide them with the skills they need to lead self-sustaining lives. From housing to employment support, Veterans Place works with Pittsburgh Veterans to help them thrive.
