At Veterans Place of Washington Boulevard, we want to thank the community for their support and reassure you that we will remain open throughout the pandemic to continue providing on-site, face-to-face services to our Veterans. Our van will also remain in operation every day to pick up homeless veterans from the streets and shelter and bring them back to our campus on Washington Boulevard.
We continue to follow our sanitation and protective gear protocols to ensure the safety of our veterans and staff and to do our part in stopping the spread of COVID-19.
As we all deal with the COVID-19 pandemic and the risks associated with it, it is important to keep in mind that this pandemic has created an emergency situation for the homeless Veterans in Pittsburgh.
At Veterans Place, we remain devoted to the health and well-being of our Veterans and we are asking our community to join in helping one of our region’s most vulnerable populations during this difficult time. Our community is a pillar of support, especially during a time of crisis, allowing us to continue to serve our veterans in the safest, most effective way possible.
